Lake Hamana boasts the largest circumference of all brackish lakes in Japan and is a very scenic place surrounded by seasonal nature. The view from the observation tower is wonderful, but you can also discover a different sort of feeling from the landscape when you see it from the lake. Why not indulge yourself in a luxurious time, feeling the refreshing breeze on a cruise?
Course types and fees
Lake Hamana cruises run two courses around the lake, a 70 min course or a 30 min course. It's also a convenient means of transportation from the lake to Kanzanji hot springs.

Let's enjoy cycling around Lake Hamana!
You can enjoy cycling on the paved cycling road around Lake Hamana. Your bicycle can be loaded onto the Lake Hamana Sightseeing Cruiser at the cost of 200 yen per vehicle. There are seven bike rental terminals where you can rent bicycles around Lake Hamana.
Event Cruises
Various event cruises are planned seasonally and are also one of the attractions. The event cruises which have taken place so far include: a Bird-watching Cruise, the Annular Solar Eclipse Observation Cruise, the First Sunrise of the Year Cruise and a Sunset Cruise.
