Hare-tokidoki cafe used to be an old house built over 100 years ago, but it was renovated to the café and art gallery. It is located in Yokosuka, Kakegawa-city, Shizuoka prefecture, which still has beautiful villages in the vicinity of mountains and old streets lined with stores and houses popular among cyclists. The café has a custom made rack for bicycles, making it the best place to take a rest during cycling. It looks like an old house on the outside, but with modern western style flooring inside. You can tell the owner has a good taste by looking at the furniture. You can also enjoy the layout in the café changing to match the subjects of the art in the surrounding gallery. Also, if you love dogs, you'll be happy to see Hersey (their dog) welcoming you at the door!
